MOSCOW, April 16. /TASS/. Exchange prices for cocoa beans exceeded $11,000 per ton for the first time in the history of trading, according to ICE Futures data.

The cost of a ton of cocoa beans at its peak reached $11,068. The previous all-time high exchange price for cocoa beans was recorded on March 26, when it reached $10,080 per ton.

On April 13, the RFI radio station reported that the leading organizations of cocoa bean producers in Cote d'Ivoire (this country is the largest supplier of this product in the world) - Le Synap CI and l'Anaproci - demanded that the authorities raise purchase prices.
