"The strike destroyed the Ukrainian army positions and entrenched militants," it said

MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. Russian troops used smart munitions to destroy Ukrainian militants at firing positions near the settlement of Spornoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday.

"The personnel of Russia’s Southern Battlegroup delivered a strike at uncovered positions with smart munitions," the ministry said in its video footage showing the target destruction as confirmed by data recorders.

"The strike destroyed the Ukrainian army positions and entrenched militants," it said.
