Russian air defenses suppress up to 400 Ukrainian UAVs in DPR over week

DONETSK, April 15. /TASS/. Russian air defense forces detected and suppressed 387 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over four cities in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the past week, the DPR defense headquarters said on its Telegram channel on Monday.

The Ukrainian drones were suppressed over Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka and Yasinovataya, the defense headquarters said, citing data of the FSB (Federal Security Service) branch for the DPR.

The drones neutralized by the air defenses included a Mavic-3 UAV and three Baba-Yaga drones carrying improvised explosive devices manufactured with the use of anti-tank aerial bombs and mines.

All intercepted drones were later destroyed with the use of pressure charges enacted by FSB bomb technicians.
